How do I place a bid?
Simply register for a free account, browse live auctions, and click “Place Bid” or "Buy Out" on any bird you’re interested in.
Is there a buyer fee?
There is no fees for buyers to use the site.
How does shipping work after I win?
Shipping is coordinated between the seller and buyer after purchase. Seller will set their own shipping charges. Most sellers offer a reduced shipping fee for additional birds won (or bought) at the same time. Buyers should combine invoices before paying to take advantage of this option (if offered by seller)
Can I ask the seller
questions before bidding?
Yes, if you are logged into your account you are able to message the seller to ask any questions.
What happens if I win
but don’t pay?
Winning a bid is a binding commitment. Buyers must complete payment within 24 hours of auction close. Failure to do so will result in:
• Order cancellation and relisting of the bird • Temporary or permanent suspension from bidding privileges • For repeat offenses, account termination.
For Sellers
How do I become a
seller?
Just sign up and create your account. Once you’re
registered, you can start listing your birds immediately.
Is there a fee to list
my pigeons?
There is no fee to list your pigeon. If you want your pigeon to be
Featured' or 'Highlighted' there are extra fees for those options.
Who pays for shipping?
Buyer pays for shipping. Seller and buyer should reach out within 24 hours to initiate shipping. Sellers are encouraged to offer combined shipping discounts for birds bought on the same invoice.
How do I get paid after
an auction ends?
After a successful sale, the buyer is instructed to pay the invoice using the payment gateway the seller set up during registration. Once the seller confirms receipt of funds, they ship the bird directly to the buyer.
Sellers are then responsible for paying any listing and/or sales fees to RP Auctions via their Sellers Dashboard.
Can I set buy now price for my auction?
Yes, sellers can set a 'Buy Out' for any pigeon on auction.
